"Mama Redefined"

We lost our son Levi in December of 2019, just a few days before he was due. This year, I wrote an essay about that experience and the profound way it impacted my faith. In August, I was invited to share my story with other loss moms in my area. Here's a link to that essay, "Mama Redefined." I hope reading it helps you in some way, as writing it helped me. â€‹

(This is "6lbs 15 oz," the picture I drew in 2020 in an attempt to externalize the internal anguish of our loss. Using art to define that Levi-sized hole in my heart helped alleviate some of that pain.)
